Hannah Lynn Xiaohuan

We decided on Hannah for several reasons. First of all, we all agreed it is just a beautiful name. And someone as beautiful as little Xiao Huan deserves a beautiful name. We also decided we wanted a name as close to what she is likely being called as possible,Huan Huan. To this end, we felt Hannah might be an easy transition for her. We also love the meaning of the name which is gracious and merciful, or just simply Grace.

All of the girls have middle names after Great-Grandmothers or grandmothers. Hannah's middle name comes from Jeff's mom. She is a model of strength and morality. She is nurturing, supportive, thoughtful, patient, caring, gentle, wise, and kind. And these are just to name a few of the many attributes that define her as an amazing Mother, Wife, and Friend. These are all qualities we pray that Hannah will come to value in her life and in her service to God. A very fitting namesake!

#18- One Cool Dude!

A few weekends ago, David decided to enter his first snow boarding competition. The winner was to go to VT and compete with others for the chance to be sponsered by Sports Illustrated. So for David, this was the Big Time!

David was remarkably cool under pressure! We are so proud of him that he is willing to take a chance and put himself out there all the while having fun doing it! While he did not place first as he would have liked, he came very, very close, and had a ball doing it! He is already looking for his next competition!

What a cool dude!

Winter-time Fun!!!!

Did you notice most of the pictures were taken inside?? Too cold for mommy! On the first snow day, Grace wanted nothing to do with anything snow! But she finally caught on by the second day that snow might be something worth looking into. Once she determined snow was more than alright, all we heard was "side" (outside), "no"(snow). And with that went my excuse to stay inside! :)
