The three older kiddos each got a new fish last month with their own money. Allie was sad to learn that she might not be quite old enough yet to care for a fish on her own. But, she didn't let that get her down for too long. When I came in to her room to wake her up from Nap, I found this on her dresser....

Can I trouble you for a prayer request? I have a friend whose 9 yo son, Logan, took a nasty fall down a flight of stairs and was unconscious and convulsing when the ambulance made it to their house. They are at the hospital now. Please send up prayers for Logan. I am praying for a miraculous healing. I pray to see this boy walking out of the hospital with his mom today! Thanks prayer warriors!

**update** It looks as though Logan is going to be okay. Cat scan and MRI shows nothing of concern. He has a nasty concussion and will be kept for observation for the next day. GOD Is Good!!!!

Ummm... so usually I post each comment one at a time, so that I can read them before publishing and then respond back via e-mail if that is an option. Well, we had some serious storms here at the beginning of the week, and were without power and then internet for a bit. And then we had the kiddos home until today, so I have not been checking the blog for comments. So when I went to sign on, I had a ton of unposted comments and decided to do a mass "approval" of all the comments to save time. Apparently, I did a mass rejection. And I am pretty sure I had to approve the deletion a second time. Sleep deprivation? Pure idiocy? A cocktail of both? I don't know.



So I am so sorry for all of you who took the time to comment. I know there were many new people and delurkers who came out to give some love. And this is how I treat you. NICE. I promise I am usually a better hostess than this.(biting aside) How bout next time you come round these parts, I take you out for ice cream. Ice cream makes everything better. And if you are lactose intolerant, how about a slushee? I'm flexible.

Several People have e-mailed to ask me why they can't hear the music on Johnathan's video. It is because of my bloggy tunes. My bad. So I will suspend the tunage for a bit, so that those of you who asked can partake in the full "experience." Well Laine, since I have been at the hospital and I am unable to call you, congratulate you and scream in excitement, I thought I would do it via the blog. So here you go, my version of our crazy "you-got-your-LOA" call ....

Really. No, wait. I lied. She is even MORE Beautiful . Seriously. That time I was telling the truth.

You know what else is beautiful? Being there to witness your niece making her Glorious entrance into the world. And being blessed to see your sister hold her little girl for the first time, and to see her daughter, upon being placed on her mommy's chest, snuggle in and sigh, as if to say, I am where I belong.


Thank you God for the blessing of these moments which I will treasure beyond this lifetime.
Thank you GOD for a safe delivery, and for the health of my sister and my niece.
And Thank you GOD for Blessing us all with this Sweet little soul!!!

I need to go. I have a play-date to snuggle with my little buddy. She likes the way I burrito wrap her in her little blanket. Oh, and she thinks I'm funny. :)

Chocolate. I do. Love it. And rainbows. And a crisp fall day. OH, with Apple cider. And leaf jumping. But not in a yard with dog poop. And a one on one chat with one of the kiddos. And when I do something silly and my kids laugh like I am the funniest person alive. Also, a beautifully composed photo. OOOH OOH OOH, I know. Celebrating life's heart-smiles with friends. Oh how I love that. And chocolate. Did I mention that. Wait... What was the point here. OH yeah...


One thing that I really really LOVE is reading "Look what God did." stories(stole that from you Andrea. thanks! :) ) Remember I told you about my friend Rebecca... well maybe you have already read her sweet little "Look What God did" story, cause I know you RAN over to enter in the giveaway and possibly to sign up for a blog makeover. Did I mention that she is doing this business to raise funds to bring home her little man. OWEN. Oh what a bundle of sweetness this little guys is.

Awww shucks. I'm blushing. :). Colleen nominated me for this special award. Thanks Girl. Didn't know you could do bloggy awards. Didn't even know I was nominated, so I don't have a speech prepared. Good thing I was dressed and had my hair combed when I came to peek at my computer this morning.(okay, just dressed) That would have been embarrassing!


So I get to pass the award on to 5 people. I want to do a back-at-cha to Colleen, cause girl, your blog makes me smile BIG. Love the Livi and Addison stories. Those girls have me peeing my pants on a regular basis(I've had that problem checked out. All is good. :) )


Here's the deal though. I have never been one to like having to pick people. I don't like people getting left behind. And the truth is, EVERY blog I read makes me smile! Why would I read a blog that didn't make me smile? I don't have time for that kind of nonsense! Sheesh. Does Anybody?
