So we were taking the kids to school yesterday, and we were engaged in a heavy round of the Alphabet Game. You know the one where you look at license plates, signs and hunt for letters and try to be the first one to Z?

Well, Matthew was paying attention to all the signs, and boy does the guy have an attention for detail. Anyways.. we were at a light for a minute, long enough for him to read a few signs, and just as we are starting to gas it to go on green I hear him shout out from the back...


"MOM. What's a HAPPY WHORE?"


me: okay, ummm... buddy I think you mean Happy HOUR. And that is where the restaurants pick a time and charge less for their food (and other stuff ;) ) and it makes everyone Happy. So it is Happy HOUR. An HOUR of much happiness. :)


seriously people.... I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried.
